Chickpeas are a nutty flavoured and versatile pulse.
Chickpeas can be used in salads, ground with tahini to make hummus, in casseroles or soups. Add to vegetable bolognese for a lovely nutty flavour. They can be puréed and added to soups and casseroles to give extra thickness.
