Bulgur wheat is a wholewheat grain that has been cracked and partially pre-cooked. Most commonly used in tabbouleh, though can be directly used as a substitute for rice or cous cous.
Nutritional Info: As a wholegrain, it is a naturally high-fiber and high in protein. It also contains copper, magnesium and phosphorus, vitamin B-6, folate, thiamine, riboflavin and zinc in smaller amounts.
